The Hawai'i Swim Show hosts an annual VIRTUAL MODEL CALL.

Models are selected based on stage presence, confidence, personality and overall alignment with the mission of the Hawai’i Swim Show.

Runway experience is not required to be in the Hawai’i Swim Show. However, we select our model cast based on stage presence, confidence, personality and overall alignment with the mission of the Hawai’i Swim Show.

Yes.

Previous bookings with the Hawai’i Swim Show will not interfere with your eligibility for future shows.

However, prior casting does not guarantee future casting.

The Hawai’i Swim Show is a portfolio expansion and experience based opportunity.

Models who are personally recruited by designers will have the opportunity to be paid by said designers, however, the Hawai’i Swim Show model cast is a sponsor opportunity.

All models in the model cast receive the following:

-exclusive gifts and/or swimwear from designers and HSS organization
-opportunity to work with world renown brands
-runway experience
-opportunity for future bookings with brands
-opportunity to create meaningful friendships and collaborations with other entrepreneurs and creatives
-license to use professional photos and content from the HSS runway and showcase

There is a processing fee for all kāne and wāhine applicants & a small fee for all keiki (children).

The Hawai'i Swim Show is well known for our model cast and selection, as we do extensive amounts of research for each and every applicant. We look for individuals that best represent the mission of the Hawai'i Swim Show and aim to provide all applicants (of any gender, age, ethnicity, height, body type and experience) equal opportunity. In order to do this, we thoroughly review each application in a multi-phase application process and ensure we get to know each applicant to the best of our abilities.

The processing fee is for the service of processing each application.
